Mouse has absolutely no “powers,” per se; everything she does is the result of lifelong training and inborn talent. This is important to remember when dealing with her, because a great deal of the things she does are considered impossible even in-canon. Mouse isn’t just a hacker, she’s the best hacker in the history of the Net. Even one of the most powerful beings in existence—Daemon, a supervirus—described her encryptions as “beautiful,” and no amount of work from any number of said virus’ tech force could break them. To Mouse, absolutely nothing is unhackable.
On top of that she’s a skilled warrior and tactician; although she usually uses other people’s ideas as a springboard for her own, she’s still very quick to come up with solutions to the most maddening issues with little prompting. She’s strong and fast and isn’t afraid to call retreat, which is doubtless another one of the reasons she found herself so relied on during the war in Mainframe.
